This tour takes you to the Westfjords of Iceland, a majestic region of steep cliffs, deep fjords, high mountains and white sandy beaches.
Weather and road conditions permitting you will get to visit the western-most point of Iceland, Látrabjarg, where you will find the largest bird-cliff in Europe (bird season is from middle of April until middle of August), and Rauðasandur, the unique red colored beach set in stark contrast to black cliffs and the turquoise blue of the Atlantic Ocean. Our local guide will take you to a seal colony where you can often see seals at close range. You will learn a bit about these playful and curious animals and have the chance to get great photos of them in their beautiful natural environment.
After the tour you can relax in one of the many natural hot pools, and if lucky, admire the northern lights. Experience the true adventure of the winter in Iceland.
