The tour starts in Westfjords Adventures office in Patreksfjörður from where we will drive to the bottom of the fjord. We will hike a short distance until we come to a beautiful hidden waterfall. After taking some pictures we will head to Skápadalur where we will see the oldest Icelandic steel ship, built in the year of 1914. Next stop is the Heritage Museum at Hnjótur. In this interesting museum we will learn how Icelandic people lived before by examining cultural values, e.g. household equipment’s, clothing and learning about the people’s lifestyle in the old days. Next stop is Breiðavík hotel for a nice meal. Finally, is the amazing Látrabjarg cliff. Látrabjarg is the westernmost point of Europe and it is also claimed to be the best place in the world to photograph puffins. It is also the largest sea bird colony of the northern Atlantic. On the way back you can relax as a car will pick us up to take us back to Patreksfjörður.
